A homeowner in Caldwell, New Jersey was looking to support their crawl space. A crawl space might need support for many issues. One of the main issues to look out for would be sagging or bouncing floors. Since crawl spaces are often unsealed from the Earth, moisture and humidity is a problem. When the wood is exposed to this, it begins to rot, mold, and become weak. This means, the floor joists are unable to continue supporting the weight of the home. The support beam and floor joists are stabilized and leveled. These steel support systems do not replace the existing columns and piers, but add strength and stability to what is there.
