This West Caldwell, New Jersey resident had enough with the water concerns they experienced after every heavy rain in their unfinished basement. They decided it was time to fix the problem and get a system installed to keep their home dry. System Design Specialist, Javier Romero, recommended a full perimeter system which included our WaterGuard French Drain System and TripleSafe Sump Pump.  

In the before photo is our crew installing WaterGuard above the footing of the foundation to collect any water seepage. This system will direct the water straight to the TripleSafe Sump pump system to properly pump the water out of the basement and away from the homes foundation.

Upon inspection, System Design Specialist, Joe Mancini, noticed signs of moisture and dampness which had started to effect the wood and beams in this crawl space. This is done by digging two feet of soil where the SmartJacks will be placed. The SmartJacks are assembled and then connected to the support beam, and the system is tightened in place. The support beam and floor joists are stabilized and leveled. These steel support systems do not replace the existing columns and piers, but add strength and stability to what is there.
