A homeowner in Bayonne, NJ experienced a sagging and sloping sensation on the first floor of their home. They did not want this problem to create future damage to their foundation, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to find a solution. Our System Design Specialist, Javier Romero, fully inspected the floor and found the crawlspace beams were sagging. He then suggested our SmartJack System would be the perfect solution since the system provides additional support. Our foreman, Wilver Cardoza, and crew installed the SmartJacks, and since then the homeowner did not experience any sagging sensations in their home again.

The horizontal crack in this Lincroft, NJ basement only got worse over time as most foundations problem do. Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the basement and noticed that the crack spanned almost the entire width of the basement! Wall Anchors were used to repair this foundation crack. Wall anchors are embedded in the soil away from the foundation wall because that soil has not been compromised like the backfill soil around the home. This wall has now been stabilized and will return back to its original position as the Wall Anchors are tightened.
