Brittney and Andrew of Norfolk, NY experienced a wet finished basement. Frequent use of a shop vac and concerns of mold hindered their hopes of using the basement space for additional bedrooms. Luckily they called Woodford Brothers after searching the internet for basement waterproofing companies. Our Customer Care department helped Brittney and Andrew schedule their free estimate with one of our Design Specialists, Tim. On the day of the appointment Tim carefully inspected the basement and drew up a plan with some options for Brittney and Andrew to consider. They agreed that the best course of action was to remove the wood paneling along the bottom portion of the wall and install Waterguard and a Super Sump Plus. Our installation crew, led by Zach, carefully and expertly installed the system taking into consideration the expectations and the goals of the home owners. They did the job while being considerate of their home and their time all while making sure to keep them informed each step of the way. Now that the job is done, Brittney and Andrew can begin to rebuild the basement with peace of mind that the space we will be dry and safe for their children spending time down there. 

The basement of Karissa's Massena, NY home has always had issues with water intrusion and dampness.  Wanting to take the steps to permanently waterproof the basement and ensure that it stayed dry, she decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs.  After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that a combination of systems would be necessary to waterproof Karissa's basement, including the TripleSafe sump pump, TrenchDrain and WaterGuard, and the SaniDry Sedona.  

First, TrenchDrain and WaterGuard, French drain systems, will be installed to collect water that seeps through the foundation walls and drain it to the sump pump.  The TripleSafe sump pump will then be installed to collect water and direct it out of the home.  Finally, the SaniDry Sedona, a high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system will be installed to eliminate damp, musty odors by drying and filtering the air.  With these systems in place, Karissa can have the peace of mind that her basement is permanently dry and waterproofed. 

Tom has been living in his Andes, NY home for three years.  Since purchasing the home he has wanted to encapsulate the crawlspace area to create a more usable, insulated space, so he decided to contact Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs.  After an initial inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the CleanSpace system and SaniDry Sedona would be the optimal solutions for Tom's crawlspace.  

The CleanSpace system is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier, it is durable, washable, and has anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in.  CleanSpace is pliable enough to cover uneven surfaces and irregular walls, including areas with large rocks or similar obstacles. In addition, the SaniDry Sedona is a high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system that eliminates damp, musty odors by drying and filtering the air.  With these two systems in place, Tom can have a dry, usable crawlspace permanently.

This recently purchased home in Arkville, NY had a wet basement. The new owner was aware of the problem when she purchased the house and intended to fix the problem with plans to use the basement space and possibly finish it in the future. Some foundations are built with a monolithic slab, meaning the footer and the slab floor are poured as one piece. Typically, we would break concrete away along the foundation wall perimeter to expose the footer in order to install Waterguard. In situations where doing so would cause damage the foundation we have an alternate solution. It's called DryTrak. The system is installed along the perimeter of the foundation wall but instead of being installed under the slab and on top of the footer, it's installed on top of the floor using a strong epoxy and a non organic plastic drainage system. This system is used to reroute any water that would enter the space at the floor/wall joint to a sump system. Our expert Design Specialists and Installers are trained to know when breaking up the floor would cause damage to a foundation. Our DryTrak system comes with the exact same lifetime dry basement guarantee as our Waterguard product does. Now this home owner has increased her quality of life by gaining more space in her new home.
