Sagging Floor & Wall Crack Repairs in Spring Lake, NC

Homeowner, Jasmine experienced sagging floors in the kitchen and living room. The unlevel floors were also causing cracks in the door frames. In the crawl space, we installed and 8 ft supplemental beam, along with two SmartJacks and 52 ft of sister joist to support and push the floor up to its level position. These solutions provided Jasmine with a safe, level floor, and even improved the crack in the wall above the door frame, as the floor was raised up, closing the crack. Subfloor Removal & Replacement in Clinton, NC

The subfloor had a large area near the front of the home where the structural framing was wet and deteriorated. The wood was rotten, making the floor soft and unstable to walk on.We completed a subfloor removal and replacement with 60 ft of sister joist and 8 ft rim board replacement. We provide a plywood underlayment. Now the homeowner has a subfloor that is safe and supported by the new joists, and can have top flooring installed. SmartJacks to Level Sagging Floors in Wilmington, NC

The floor in this home was sinking and creating gaps where the wall meets the floor. The wooden beams in the crawl space that support the floor have weakened due to the wood absorbing excess moisture and humidity, therefore causing the floors to sag. We installed support beams and SmartJacks in the crawl space to lift and stabilize the floors. SmartJacks are adjustable steel columns that lift sagging floors back up to their level position. They are attached to the floor joists or support beams. You can see in the image that the SmartJacks have pushed the floor up, closing the gap where the wall meets the floor. Helical Pier System Installation in Jacksonville, NC

This Jacksonville, NC homeowner contacted our office concerned about the safety and structural integrity of their home. Large cracks were visible on the exterior brick foundation as well as around the windows and doors inside the home. After our team provided a free, thorough foundation assessment, it was decided to install our Helical Pier system to permanently stabilize the home. Helical piers were driven deep into stable soil layers, where they provide strong support. These piers were screwed into the ground using helical-shaped plates, which distribute the home's weight evenly and prevent further settling. Once in place, they lift and secure the foundation, restoring stability to the structure.
