The homeowner was concerned about his home after noticing that he had started to get sagging floors in different parts of this home. He crawled into the crawl space of his home and found that the crawl space had high moisture level, and that there was wood rot and failing support beams. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair was able to help fix the home by installing the SmartJack System after replacing the rotted wood in the home. We also installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to get rid of the problem that was causing the wood rot.

Richard contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because he had an awful mold smell coming from the crawl space along with mold growth on the inside of the home. Richard wanted the best solution to fix the crawl space of his home. Southeast Foundation inspector RJ Bailey met with Richard to go over the crawl space of the home. RJ found that Richard's problem was coming from the crawl space and was due to high humidity in which mold and mildew could thrive. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. By installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System we are able to lower the humidity in the crawl space by sealing off the area from the earth's ground, sealing the area off from outside influences like water and air and adding a dehumidifier to lower the humidity. Michael contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair by purchasing a home in Winnabow, NC. The home was 20 years old and never had a vapor barrier installed and had open air flow due to old vents.
