Anthony contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about sagging floors in his home in Latta, SC. Anthony's sagging floors where caused by weakened floor joists and girders. The weakened floor joist and girders where an effect of the crawl space of the home being unsealed and exposed to high moisture levels and humidity. We were able to help Anthony by installing the SmartJack Stabilizing System. The SmartJack System is engineered to stabilize and level the girders and floor joist in the crawl space. Using SmartJack Support Posts and a supplemental steel beam, the crew eliminated the threat of floor failure caused by high moisture and wood rot. 

The SmartJack adjustable steel support posts are designed to be placed under sagging beams, providing supplemental support and preventing them from further sagging. This can help improve the structural integrity of the crawl space and ensure that the floor is properly level.

This customer's foundation sank due to soil settlement. We installed foundation push piers around the foundation to transfer the weight of the structure to more solid ground and stabilize it permanently. 

Moisture in this crawl space caused the support columns to lose stability, causing the floor above to sag. With the help of SmartJack Support Posts, we were able to lift the floor to a level position and solve this problem.
