This home was in dire need of a fix, as the deflection of the home was about 6 inches. That left very little room for movement before the homes entirety was lost. With our EverBrace Wall Restoration, we stabilized the home, and saved it from irreversible damage.  

Faced with a challenge in Georgefield, Nova Scotia, where a mobile home turned 2-story bungalow revealed bowing walls, we stepped in to deliver our expertise. As you can see in the 'before' snapshot, the foundation's integrity was compromised, posing a looming risk to the home's structure. By applying our Carbon Armor solution, depicted in the 'after' photo, we not only fortified the foundation but rejuvenated the homeowner's peace of mind. A building foundation is the building block of the entire structure, and when compromised it can be scary and dangerous for the homeowner. The foundation wall of this home had a tree root growing through the foundation, compromising the home.  This home, located in a small town just minutes away from Halifax, had an addition that was quiet literally on its last leg. 

Ridgeback Basement Systems received a call from this homeowner who was interested in having us take a look at the addition portion of his home that was installed prior to him buying there. 

Upon arrival, it was clear that they were in need of immediate supports put in. There was only one beam holding up this addition and it began to separate from the home. Jake, the system design specialist on this appointment, knew that SmartJacks were a must to alleviate the pressure off the sole beam in there and disperse the weight throughout the entire area. 

Our production team installed SmartJacks with a galvanized supplemental beam. Not only is the home now supported, but the homeowners aren't in fear that their home is going to fall beneath them.
