A basement in Hilliard, Ohio needed to be waterproofed, so we used many of our products to do it. One of these products was IceGuard. IceGuard is an attachment that allows water to escape from a sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked. Water can escape the pipe outlet even if it is buried beneath a foot of ice and snow, allowing the sump pump to keep the basement dry. The homeowner does not need to turn valves, attach hoses, or do anything else. This is s great tool for the winter months.
