We were contracted for a job in Marion, Ohio, to upgrade a home's old basement windows with a vented glass block window. Glass block is much stronger and resistant to breaking, cracking and leaking. The vent allows for air flow as needed and, when shut, creates a complete seal to more effectively insulate from the outside air while allowing natural light to enter. 

These homeowners called Mid-Statement Basements after noticing their basement wall was caving in. Our team installed steel-beams to support the wall and prevent damage to the foundation.

This Powell, OH homeowner was getting water in their basement. After an inspection of the basement, our specialist found that the homeowner's downspouts were releasing water right by the foundation. This was causing excess water to pool around the basement walls. Our team extended and buried the home's downspouts and installed LawnScape to help direct water away from the foundation.

This Powell, OH basement had water damage beneath an exposed drainage pipe. Mid-State Basements Inspector Mitch Mink took a look and came up with a creative solution. Mitch recomended that Foreman Brent Lopez first seal the pipe to ensure it's not leaking. After that, the crew drilled weep holes beneath the pipe and used the WellDuct Window Drain to direct the water to the below ground waterproofing system already installed.
