In South River, ON, a customer faced a serious issue with a large tear in their crawl space’s moisture barrier, which led to excess humidity and poor air quality. As seen in the photo, the damaged liner allowed moisture to seep in, creating ideal conditions for mold growth and potential structural damage.

To resolve the problem, we installed our CleanSpace® encapsulation system, complete with Drainage Matting, a SmartDrain™ leak detection system, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The SmartDrain™ offers added peace of mind by detecting plumbing leaks beneath the liner and alerting the homeowner, while also channeling water safely away from the space.

This combination of systems not only stopped the moisture intrusion but also helped prevent future issues and significantly improved indoor air quality. In the before photo, the homeowner in Ajax, ON faced the challenge of a damp, musty crawl space with sagging floors due to excessive moisture. Our specialist Jason travelled to Ajax to inspect his basement and give him a free quote for the installation of the WaterGuard. Mr. Dube accepted his proposition on the spot, and we scheduled a date to come for the installation. Foreman Colin and his team drove down on the scheduled date and got to work. First, they dug a trench in the slab around the basement walls and to the TripleSafe™ in order to connect it. They then placed the WaterGuard system inside and filled the trench with cement, ensuring the drainage system is out of view.
