In Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, the customer was dealing with a damp and problematic crawl space, with mold, odors, cold floors, and the risk of wood deterioration. To solve these problems, our team implemented a complete encapsulation solution, combining a drainage matting to remove water and prevent stagnation, CleanSpace® membrane covering the walls and floor to create a waterproof barrier against moisture and contaminants, and a ventilation system and integrated sump pump to ensure a dry, healthy, and permanently protected crawl space. Thanks to this intervention, the customer now benefits from a secure, insulated, and durable space, protected from moisture, odors, and structural damage.

In Saint-Cyprien, our client was dealing with a damp crawl space, with soggy soil, persistent odors, heavy air in the house, and a real risk of mold, wood deterioration, and problems related to excessive moisture. The space contributed to increased indoor humidity, affecting comfort and air quality.

To remedy the situation, we first installed a drainage membrane on the floor to capture water from the ground and efficiently direct it to the drainage point. Next, we completely encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace membrane, creating a waterproof barrier against moisture, water vapor, and infiltration from the ground. To stabilize humidity levels and improve indoor air quality, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, designed to continuously control humidity and reduce the risk of condensation and odors. Finally, a SmartDrain pump was installed to automatically drain water from under the membrane, preventing future accumulation.

Today, the crawl space is clean, dry, and protected, contributing to better energy performance, protection of the home's structure, and a healthier environment year-round. This project demonstrates the importance of a comprehensive approach combining drainage, encapsulation, dehumidification, and active water management for a sustainably sanitized crawl space in Quebec.

Attic insulation is an important step in solving problems of home comfort, health and wasted energy (and money). This client contacted us because the temperatures in the different rooms fluctuated a lot. In addition, the old insulation became dirty and unhealthy and accumulated dust, dirt and other unwanted material.

To solve this problem, our team began by removing all the old insulation. Then we sealed all the places such as gaps, wiring holes, hunts and the top of the walls to block any air leaks. It was also necessary to encapsulate the ducts with our Tight 'n True high R-value spray foam system. Finally, we insulate the entire space with TruSoft insufflated cellulose. All these products allow the attic to be completely insulated by blocking all air leaks and controlling the energy released in your home.

As the autumn started, our client had some issues with his gutters. In fact, the falling leaves were clogging the gutters, thus not allowing the water to be well evacuated away from his house. 

Understanding the bad consequences which can result, our specialist suggested installed the Raindrop Gutter Guard. This system will let the water smoothly flow inside the gutter, without letting any debris getting inside and blocking them. In addition, the raindrop Gutter Guard is ice and shockproof, allowing it to resist heavy debris as well as snow. 

Client was very satisfied with the result. He is free from manually cleaning his gutter every week.
