Installation of a WaterGuard interior foundation drain and a SuperSump sump pump system.

Our customer from Saint-Colomban was so happy that we have turned his basement from a damp area into a livable place that his entire family can use as a living space and as a storage place as well.

We started by installing our interior drain system: ‘The WaterGuard’. This interior drain will direct all the water seeping into the sump pump.

And since damp basement conditions can easily ruin certain flooring materials –like plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and carpeting installed directly over a basement slab floor, we have installed basement flooring that couldn’t ever be damaged by mold or moisture’ The ThermalDry floor tiles’.

Having an old sump pump in your basement will not guarantee you that all the water will be pumped out the place, especially when there is too much rain or flood.

Mr. Cote had an old sump pump, and he felt that it was not enough, since the basement was always flooding, so he contacted us because he was interested in our patented systems.

When our specialist went to his place, he recommended the TripleSafe system which contains 3 pumps in a single hermetic coating. The first pump operates under normal conditions. The second pump starts if there is a problem with the first pump or if the flow and volume of water are too big and fast for the first one. This third pump is powered by a rechargeable battery and the SmartWatch alarm alerts you when the emergency battery is running.
