Problem:

Mr. Tella had moisture problems in his house which came from the earthen crawl space.

Solution:

Encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. It is installed on the earthen floor of the crawl space and sealed to the wall. The moisture coming from the earthen floor is then blocked. The crawl space will therefore be drier and the rest of the house too.

In the before photo, you can see the danger inside this basement in Montreal incarnated by a big crack causing water infiltration. With walls seemingly under siege by water, the sense of urgency was palpable. Here's where we stepped in. As depicted in the vivid contrast of the after photo, we employed FlexiSpan—a hallmark of durability in our arsenal—effectively turning a damp, worrisome space into a dry, serene sanctuary. Through our dedicated intervention, the nightmare of a leaking basement was transformed into peace of mind.

Our client had a mold problem that was starting to show up and was becoming more and more serious.

In order to fix the problem, our specialist installed a ;Drainage Matting to collect the water that escapes from the ground and accumulates in the crawl space;  A CleanSpace to isolate the earth from the rest of the crawl space to reduce humidity.

 To get the excess water out of the crawl space, a SuperSump was installed. It is a covered pump that prevents the moisture from getting out.

Thanks to these solutions, our client now enjoys a house protected against humidity and mold.

Our client had a poor functioning French drain system, whose results were seen during every major rain. After contacting our company, we have informed him that an indoor drain installation was the option.

Our interior "French" drain, the WaterGuard, comes with a guarantee for the lifetime of the home against water infiltration in the basement, which gave the customer more peace of mind.

Ms. Renaud wanted to transform her crawl space into a clean, dry place in which she could store her belongings. The crawl space is made of earth and the stone walls were not insulated. Which made the place damp and cold. So she contacted Système Sous-sol Québec in order to have a quick and permanent solution.

Our solution was to install a drainage mat over the earthen floor to direct surface water to the existing sump pump and then lay our CleanSpace liner over the drainage mat to isolate the earth from the house and on the stone walls. The CleanSpace helps block the evaporation of water in the ground to reduce the humidity level in the crawl space. It is sturdy and gives a clean and clear appearance to the crawl space.

With this solution, Mrs. Renaud will finally be able to use this space to store her belongings.
