WaterGuard Installed in Hendersonville, NC Basement

Basement walls that leak water are not uncommon. This is because, depending on the wall’s material, the walls can be very porous, allowing in water whenever it rains. This water, of course, trickles in and leaves a little pretty sizable stain on the floor of your basement. The owners of this Hendersonville, North Carolina home were experiencing this first hand.

Taking a look at our “before” photo, we can see that’s exactly what happened here.  In fact, all along the bottom of the walls the water left stains. To prevent this from happening any further, the best course of action was to install WaterGuard.

WaterGuard is our patented piping system that actually does not sit in dirt. It’s installed inside of the basement, against the leaking walls. It has a special wall flange that creates space between the floor and wall which allows wall seepage to drain while keeping debris out. Once we’ve set it up, we cover it with cement, so it can blend in with the floor once it dries.

The “after” photo showcases the last leg of the installation. The cement has yet to dry, but the WaterGuard has already been installed. Say good-bye to those water stains.

New Sump Pump in Hendersonville, NC Basement

Our crew, led by crew Forman Will Harris, started on this basement by removing the old sump pump that was once in the basement. Then our crew began to jack hammer the perimeter of the basement so that the WaterGuard drainage system could be installed. Once there was a space for the WaterGuard to be laid down, it was leveled out at a slight angle so that any water that was to enter the system would flow towards the new SuperSump Pump, then covered with concrete. The SuperSump Pump system is one of the best sump pumps on the market. The system can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water an hour, a WaterWatch Alarm System, A SuperLiner, and Airtight Lid. The WaterWatch alarm system warns the homeowner of when water has reached the top of the pump. The Airtight Lid keeps moisture from evaporating into the basement, keeps bugs out, and is strong enough to stack items on top of so that you don’t lose floor space in your basement. The water that drains from the WaterGuard into the SumpPump is then flushed out to the yard through the LawnScape Outlet.

In the “before” picture you see the old Sump Pump that was down in the basement and in the “after” picture you can see the new SuperSump Pump that replaced it.

Waterproofing Hendersonville, NC Basement

This basement in Hendersonville, NC was having water seep into it where the wall and the floor met. In the pictures that were taken during the free estimate by our design specialist, David Listovitch, you can see where the floor and bottom of the wall has water stains and dirt. This water was coming down the hill through the flower bed and against the exterior basement wall. The homeowners placed a fan in this section of the basement as an attempt to keep it dry to avoid high moisture levels and humidity.

Our crew led by crew foreman Jose Najera, installed 62 units of WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement.

Wet and Moldy Basement in Hendersonville, N.C.

This basement had severe water intrusion causing this area to be a damp, moldy, and unusable space. After installing our WaterGuard System and BrightWall Panels, along with other products, this is now a more appealing and viable space.

The "before" picture shows just how serious of a problem water intrusion can be, creating a damp, moldy, and potentially dangerous situation.

The "after" picture is after our team installed the Waterguard System-which drains any water away from the basement floor and walls, BrightWall Panels, as well as other products. The difference between the two is incredible!
