Tiliting Chimney Straightened in Greer, SC

Dennis is a homeowner in Greer, SC who loves to take walks in the morning to really kick-start his day. One day when walking home he noticed that his chimney and porch seemed to be lower than the rest of the house. After further inspection he confirmed his suspicions and became deeply aggravated. How could the house he has lived in so long start to do this now, "It had become an eye-sore", he said. "I noticed it, and though they never said it, I know my neighbors noticed it". Dennis decided to do something about it. He called Cantey Foundation Specialists. Specialist Ryan came out to his home and explained to him that our patented Push Pier system was the solution Dennis was looking for. Team Leader Sixto, Team Member Jose, and Team Member Mariano were sent to Dennis's home and made efficient work of the Push Pier Installation. Dennis watched as his chimney and porch began to rise and become even again with the rest of his home. He was ecstatic that we were able to do the job in the time we were able to. "Now I can walk and look at my house the way I use too", Dennis said.

Woodwork Impresses Greer, SC Homeowners

Teresa G. has lived in her Greer, SC home for about 10 years now. She and her husband love taking care of their home because it has been their biggest investment. When the concrete in their garage started to crack they had Cantey Foundation Specialists come out and repair it. During this inspection, System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey also looked over the crawl space. He found that there was also some rotten wood but Teresa and her husband were just concerned about the garage. A few months later, however, Teresa started to notice that the floor in the hall was sagging. She decided to call Cantey back out to see what they could do to replace the wood. System Design Specialist Nathan mapped out a plan to get the wood replaced and fix the floor in the hall. Teresa trusted Cantey to get the job done right because of the great job they had already done on the garage. Production Crew Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Crew Member David Herbert, and Production Crew Member Dillon Price came out and effectively replaced the rotten wood. Teresa and her husband are once again impressed with Cantey and have referred several of their friends that have similar issues.

Rotten Rim Joist Causes Problems for Simpsonville, SC Homeowner

Michael P.'s home in Simpsonville, SC had a massive rotting wood deck, which he decided to tear out and replace.  When he tore out the deck, he realized that the foundation wall that it was connected to was also rotted out.   After researching solutions online, he called Cantey Foundation Specialist for a free inspection and estimate. System Design Specialist Nathan Bailey explained to Michael that Cantey could replace all of his rotten wood rot with treated lumber.  This would allow the new deck to be connected to something stable, and it would prevent future problems of wood rot or mold.  Production Foreman Jonathan Driggers and his crew replaced all of the rotten wood, which in turn stabilized the foundation wall back into place.  Now, Michael can begin rebuilding his new deck so that he could enjoy the rest of his summer!

Push Piers Resolve Worrisome Crack in Simpsonville, SC

Brad H. moved into his Simpsonville, SC home about 10 years ago He and his family love their home and the neighborhood. The kids are always playing outside with all the other kids that live around them. One day while playing some flag football with all the neighbors, Brad’s next door neighbor noticed the huge crack on his foundation. His neighbor suggested that he call Cantey Foundation Specialists because the crack was a serious issue and he could at least get a free estimate. Brad called in that Monday and scheduled an appointment. System Design Specialist Ryan Holloway arrived for the inspection and looked over the problem areas as well as the crawl space. Ryan determined that Brad really needed to stabilize his foundation, otherwise it would only get worse. Ryan explained that Cantey had a solution called the Push Pier system that would lift and stabilize the foundation. The process would begin with the crew digging holes around the foundation. A bracket would then be placed at the footing and then piers would be driven into the earth until they found the more competent soil. Once they reached this point, the piers would push against the bracket to lift the foundation back into place. This also creates permanent stability for the foundation. Brad knew he needed the work done and believed that Cantey was the right company for the job. The installation was scheduled and Production Crew Leader Juan Ramirez, Production Crew Member Robert Gardner, and Production Crew Member Justin Stillinger installed the Push Pier system effectively. Brad now has a permanently stabilized foundation and no longer has to worry about his family home.
