Jho M. of Lexington, SC noticed that her kitchen cabinets and fridge were leaning forward and pulling away from the wall, and she was tired of looking at it.  She wanted it leveled so that it would no longer be an eye sore, and so that she could install new floors.  Calling Cantey Foundation Specialists, System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford inspected the interior and exterior of her home, and he recommended installing our patented SmartJack system as the best solution to her problem.  She chose Cantey because she loved the fact that we do not sub contract work out, so she knew that only our #1 team crew would be doing the work.  Production Crew Foreman Dallas Darity installed the 8 SmartJacks in her crawl space, which not only lifted but also stabilized her home for many years to come.  Jho can now install new floowing without worry!

Elizabeth knew her crawlspace under her home in Lexington, SC was not in very good condition and with summer coming she wanted to be proactive. Cantey crew members completely encapsulated her crawlspace, removed her old insulation, and installed a dehumidifier system with a sealed vent to help keep her home nice and cool this summer. A clean crawlspace and dehumidifier can help save money on energy bills by lowering the amount of water vapor in the air, as wet air takes more time and energy to cool. 

Vivica F. and her husband moved into their Lexington, SC home 8 years ago. They decided to purchase a bigger home in preparation for starting a family. It was definitely the right decision for them, they love their home. Of course, having small children has prevented them from doing a bunch of updates on their home. There is just never enough time it seems. They did notice, however, that over time their bedroom door would not close all the way. Soon after, a crack began to form which prompted Vivica to want to get the problem fixed. While watching the evening news, Vivica saw a commercial for Cantey Foundation Specialists and decided to call in to schedule an appointment. System Design Specialist Brandon Privette came out and did a thorough inspection of the crawl space. Brandon found that the area under the bedroom was lacking support. He sat down with Vivica to show her how the SmartJack system could help. The SmartJack system would begin with a steel beam being installed for extra support. Then a hole would be dug under the beam and filled with engineer designed gravel. Then a bottom plate would be placed on top of the gravel to hold the SmartJack. The SmartJack would also be attached to the steel beam above. When the jack is level, the crew then tightens the jack to create lift and stabilization. Vivica felt like this was the best solution for her home and scheduled an installation day. Production Crew Leader Jonathan Lowder, Production Crew Member David Herbert, and Production Crew Member Phillip Sullivan came out and effectively installed the SmartJack system. Vivica and her family now have peace of mind in their home and no longer have issues with their door.

Cantey went to this home in Blackstock, SC because the homeowner was concerned about interior cracks. The cracks were a sign of sagging floors and a compromised foundation. Smart Jacks were installed to offer a permanent solution.  

Karl W. of Rock Hill, SC was planning on selling his home; however, after looking in his crawl space, he knew he needed to fix the termite-ridden and rotten wood rim joists.  After seeing Cantey's name in the local Money Mailer, Karl called for a free inspection and estimate.  System Design Specialist Jamie Beresford examined the crawl space, and he had a simple solution: replace all the rotten wood with our treated lumber.  Production Crew Foreman Dallas Darity and his crew were able to do this in a timely manner and at a reasonable price!  Now, Karl can have the peace of mind to begin the process of selling his home.
