The owner of this Orlinda, TN home was concerned with the prolonged stability of their home's floor joists. Looking at the floors from inside the crawlspace, we noticed the water damage that was affecting the home's cinderblock supports. As a solution, we installed SmartJacks supports in tandem with the cinderblock supports. This Tennessee family was experiencing some foundation issues in their 100 year old house and asked us to give them a permanent solution. Our inspector came out and looked around. He noted cracked cement and cracks in their exterior chimney. Their doors also had a hard time closing correctly and the floors seemed bouncy. Under the house, he saw the wood was getting weak and slightly molding. Sometimes, the weight of the furniture and occupants become too much and the floors and walls begin to sag.
