Located next to the water in South Hero, Vermont, a homeowner experienced water entering his basement during heavy rain and lingering around for days afterward. The basement, used for displaying a sizeable vast collection of collectible items, was essential to the homeowner and needed to address the issue and find a remedy immediately.  Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems, with their immense experience and quality work, made the water go away and made sure it will not come back.  Matt's team of highly trained and certified water installation specialists installed a full perimeter Water Guard Drainage System, a Triple Safe Sump Pump.  To put the icing on the top of this project, a Sanidry Sedona Dehumidifier and Air filtration System tied into the waterproofing system to maintain a perfect 55% humidity and to keep the air clean in the basement.

This wall system includes metal studs and an inorganic, mold-resistant wall product that replaces the bottom 32" of your home's drywall. An inorganic base molding and decorative chair rail make this an appealing, long-lasting solution.  The ThermalDry Carpeting doesn’t roll out over the floor; it’s manufactured in square tiles that snap together. With ThermalDry carpet tiles, there’s no foam pad to soak up water. Instead, there’s a waterproof plastic base designed with a built-in drainage plane and thermal break. Water drains through ThermalDry carpet rather than soaking in, eliminating worries about mold, mildew and moisture damage.
