This basement in Appomattox, Virginia was experiencing water intrusion issues. To solve this problem for the customer, Fortress Foundation Solutions installed our Water Guard French drain system around the perimeter of the basement to catch any incoming water and then take it to our Triple Safe sump pump that we also put in. 

This home has been in the family for many years with the current owner having been born and raised there. They reached out to Fortress Foundation Solutions to explore options to prevent water intrusion in certain areas in their basement. Our System Designer, Brandon Conner, went out to inspect the home and developed a permanent waterproofing solution. Our Foreman, Andre Luck and his crew installed a Waterguard XL drainage system and a trench drain by the outside basement door, in addition to a TripleSafe Sump Pump to divert water out and away from the home, permanently preventing water entering the basement in the future.

In Wingina, the homeowners faced recurring basement flooding, leading to damp conditions and potential structural damage, clearly visible in the before photo. Concerned for their home’s integrity and usability, they turned to Fortress Foundation Solutions. As shown, we installed our WaterGuard® system, a premier sub-floor drainage solution designed to efficiently transport water to a sump pump. Notice in the after image the seamless, clean transformation to a sturdy, dry environment. This basement had an existing sump pump, which we removed and replaced with a TripleSafe.
