James C. called Fortress Foundation Solutions after his installed sump pump was not taking care of the water in his basement, resulting in high moisture levels. He had tried to fix it himself, but his methods were unsuccessful. A System Designer completed an inspection and offered a free estimate. Ready for a permanent solution, James agreed. A Fortress waterproofing crew installed a WaterGuard drainage system so all water entering the home flows to the sump pump. The Triple Safe sump pump has a closed lid so moisture and bad odors aren't released from the sump pump and a battery back up. Now James has the dry basement he always wanted!

This homeowner in Smithsburg, MD called Fortress Foundation Solutions with concerns about water and moisture intrusion. Water came into the area with rain events and the area remained humid. Our System Designer knew after assessing the area that the best solution would be our WatergGuard system and our CleanSpace wall. 

Our Foreman and his crew installed these products. The crew started by prepping the perimeter of the area for the Waterguard. Then they installed the Waterguard and sump pump. Once this was installed, the crew followed over with fresh cement for a clean look. The crew installed the Cleanspace wall to help prevent moisture from coming through the wall. Our SaniDry Dehumidifier was also installed to eliminate the moisture in the area.   

Matt, a homeowner in Gainesville, Virginia, had started noticing signs of water coming from behind his insulated but unfinished concrete basement walls. FlexiSpan is a flexible crack repair system as seen in the after photo designed to seal leaking wall cracks while still allowing for natural wall movement over time. The system is tied into a small section of WaterGuard drainage installed above the footer beneath the floor, allowing any future water seepage to safely drain away instead of entering the basement. 

The customer called with complaints of repeated basement flooding. To solve this issue Fortress Foundation Solutions installed a full perimeter WaterGuard and a fuller perimeter french drain. Fortress also installed a SuperSump Plus with a SaniDry Sedona and an Ice Guard to ensure that the basement would never again.

This basement in Middletown had water seeping up through the foundation when it rained. The homeowner called Fortress Foundation Solutions to solve this problem. After assessing the home, Fortress determined that a full-perimeter WaterGuard, a TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier were the best solution. The WaterGuard will catch any water coming in and channel it to the TripleSafe where it will be pumped out of the basement. This homeowner no longer has to worry about a wet basement!
