Crawl Space Encapsulation, Langford Place, Charlottesville VA
Your Crawl Space should be an accessible area to your home! Fortress Foundation Solutions was able to make that possible at this home in Charlottesville, Virginia by fully Encapsulating the Crawl Space. We started by using our Water Drainage Matting to keep any water that may come up from the ground out of the crawl space. Next, we installed our Clean Space Vapor Barrier System and SilverGlo Insulation to keep dirt and critters from getting into the crawl space. Lastly, our Production Crew installed our Triple Safe Sump Pump System to redirect any water getting in through the walls back outside, and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. This Crawl Space Encapsulation Process allows a clean and dry environment for these homeowners.

This client was worried about moisture in her crawls pace, so she called Fortress Foundation Solutions, who sent Paul Heckman to her house. Paul did a thorough inspection of her crawl space, and gave her an estimate. A few days later, our Foreman, Charlie Evans, went out with his crew and installed our SilverGlo Insulation on the walls of the crawl space, our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier in the corner, and our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the floors and walls. Our client was so grateful for her clean, dry crawl space!
Crawl space transformation in Charlottesville, VA
This Charlottesville, VA homeowner was dealing with a damp, vented crawl space that had become the source of musty odors throughout the home. Excess moisture created the perfect environment for mold growth, poor indoor air quality, and an unhealthy space beneath the home.
System Designer Eddie preformed the inspection and put together a tailored solution for this home. Foreman Peter and crew transformed the crawl space with a complete CleanSpace® encapsulation system, SilverGlo™ wall insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The result is a clean, dry, and healthy crawl space that helps improve indoor air quality, controls moisture, and protects the home for years to come.
One basement and a tiny crawl space in Great Cacapon, WV
In Great Cacapon, West Virginia, homeowner Gwynn reached out to Fortress because she was looking to sell her home but had a few major hold-ups - including water intrusion, an exposed dirt crawl space, high humidity levels, and sagging floors, as seen in the before photo.
The buyers were not comfortable moving forward with the purchase until these issues were properly addressed, so the sellers called Fortress. Cara was the system designer assigned to evaluate the concerns brought up by the buyers. She carefully reviewed the addendum and proposed a solution based on the requested repairs.
As seen in the after photo, the crawl space is now properly sealed off from the earth with our CleanSpace encapsulation system, supported with a SmartJack support system, and protected with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to help control moisture and humidity.
