The crawl space of this home in Martinsville was damp and messy, and needed some help!

Our System Designer, Chris Guill, went out to assess this crawl space and recommended installing a complete CleanSpace encapsulation, along with SilverGlo Wall insulation.

Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is designed to permanently prevent moisture and outside air from getting into your crawlspace. These products will work together to ensure that this homeowner now has a crawl space that stays clean and dry!

Mr. Lawson in Roanoke had been dealing with ongoing moisture in his basement. Water intrusion was starting to create concerns about damage and potential mold, so he needed a dependable, long-term solution.

We approached the project by first installing a WaterGuard drainage system to collect any water entering along the perimeter and direct it away from the space. That system was tied into a TripleSafe sump pump, which handles the discharge and keeps the basement protected even during heavier water flow. To round things out, we added a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to control humidity levels and improve overall air quality.

This customer called Fortress Foundation Solutions because they just could not figure out why or where there was water entering into their crawl space. They would receive water whenever it would rain heavily in their area. Even when it would not rain, their crawl space constantly had moisture, causing an awful musty smell that they could just not get rid of. 

Fortress installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump and our Vapor Barrier to assure our customer of a cleaner, drier, healthier, and more energy-efficient crawl space.
