Bowing Wall Repair on Bernard Rd in Rocky Mount, Virginia

This homeowner has only been in her home for a few years and noticed some stair-step cracks beginning in her basement. She has not seen any sign of water entering her home but wants to be proactive by installing a waterproofing system. We worked with her to address the bowing wall concerns first. System Designer, Sonny Kingsbury, worked with the homeowner on a plan to address each of her concerns on a time line that worked with her budget.

Our Foreman, Matt Burger, and his crew came in and completed the installation of six Power Brace wall supports to ensure this wall would be at risk of failing. The homeowner was very pleased!

They are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy duty steel bracket. Concrete is used to fill the holes around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.
