Using a hygrometer and a high-quality moisture meter, Cara was able to detect moisture behind the finished walls and identify the source of the problem. She designed a permanent solution, and Gustavo and his crew completed the installation.

This homeowner's crawlspace was in bad shape. It was holding a lot of moisture, causing the insullation to fall and the air quality to be less than ideal. A damp crawlspace can also threaten the integrity of the home by weakening the floor joists and beams. They called Fortress Foundation Solutions for help. Our systems designer went out and gave them a free estimate and proposed a solution to save their crawlspace. A crew installed a full encapsulation using our CleanSpace vapor barrier and SilverGlo insulation. They also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which acts as an air purifier as well as a dehumidifier. This crawlspace is now safe from moisture and critters and has been turned into a usable space for storage. On top of all that, the homeowners can have peace of mind that they are breathing the cleanest air thanks to the SaniDry Sedona.
