Adam adjusted his schedule to squeeze me in a week early because of a time crunch I was in for a basement project I had going on. I bought the house from someone who had a vapor barrier installed in 2017 and they did a terrible job. I contacted Fortress because they were not that original company, and they did a great job re-encapsulating my crawlspace.

The Fortress crew came today to do a crawlspace encapsulation for radon mitigation. They arrived a little earlier than the promised time. The crew chief, Gustavo was very polite and professional. Along with Luis, Jorge, and Daniel they finished the job ahead of schedule and with excellent quality. They also cleaned the area well. Great crew and good company. Additionally the system designer, Skylar Beverage, came right on time for the initial assessment and provided us with a carefully calculated cost estimate at the end of his visit. Skylar knew we had a very serious time constraint and tried hard and succeeded in meeting our timing needs beyond expectations. Bravo.

Scott Farmer, Dan, Jordan, and Jamil got the project done sooner than expected, and Scott kept us updated throughout the process so we would understand exactly what was happening. We’ll be using FFS for all of our crawlspace and foundation work from here on out!

Fortress Foundation came to address leakage in encapsulated sheeting. Cody and Rashad listened to our description, diagnosed the issue, and made the repairs. They also patiently explained what they did to address the issue and provided information on what to look for to prevent further issues.

Every step of the way, they were courteous, respectful, knowledgeable in what needed to be done to my crawl space.They didn't just do the minimums of their job, they went above and beyond by explaining what they were doing and answering any questions. As they worked, they let me know they found a leak in one of the condensation lines for my HVAC unit, so I could contact that company to have it repaired.When the HVAC repair man came, he commented on what a great job the Fortress crew had done. He said his work takes him into all kinds of crawlspaces and every crawlspace he has been in that Fortress has done have been excellent and has helped his customers with their heating and cooling as well as making the air quality of the home so much better.Another man who works in telecommunications and goes to all kinds of job sites, when he went in the crawlspace, he too commented on a job well done and was very impressed.When the county inspector came for the final inspection, he too commented on what a great job they had done. The county I live in, the inspectors are known for being real sticklers on the details. When I said the Fortress crew had done a great job. He responded with, "Yes.
