The homeowner in Shawano, WI had a crawlspace with exposed earth, elevated humidity, and ongoing moisture concerns that were impacting air quality and structural conditions above. Moisture intrusion and unsealed rim joists allowed damp air to circulate throughout the crawlspace, increasing the risk of mold growth, wood deterioration, and cold floors during Wisconsin’s seasonal temperature swings.
Inspection confirmed high moisture levels, poor vapor control, and inadequate drainage protection within the crawlspace.

After
Sure-Dry completed a full crawl space encapsulation using CleanSpace® vapor barrier to fully seal the crawlspace floor and walls, preventing ground moisture from entering the space. A SmartSump® crawlspace sump pump system was installed to manage groundwater, while RimTight® insulation sealed the rim joists to reduce air leakage and improve energy efficiency. To control humidity long-term, a Sedona® dehumidifier was installed to maintain consistent, dry conditions year-round.
The crawlspace is now dry, sealed, and conditioned, improving indoor air quality, energy performance, and long-term protection for the home.

After
Sure-Dry completed a crawl space encapsulation and conditioning solution using CleanSpace® vapor barrier to fully seal the crawl space floor and walls, blocking ground moisture from entering the space. SilverGlo® insulation was installed to insulate the crawl space walls, improving thermal performance and helping maintain consistent temperatures. To control moisture long-term, a Sedona® dehumidifier was added to regulate humidity and keep the crawlspace dry year-round.
The crawl space is now sealed, insulated, and conditioned, improving comfort, energy efficiency, and overall indoor air quality.

This crawl space in West Bend was suffering from structural and moisture issues, which were causing issues in the home above. Sure-Dry installed SmartJacks to stabilize the floor above and then installed a combination of CleanSpace Water Vapor Barrier, WaterGuard drainage, and sump pump to safely collect and remove any water that entered. A Sedona SaniDry Dehumidifier was also installed to control the humidity levels in the crawl space and, ultimately, the home above.
