Stairstep Cracking in Foundation Walls

This customer reached out to us with concerns of stairstep cracking taking place in their foundation walls. The stairstep cracking was starting to cause the foundation to heave and bow. We installed our Powerbrace System to support the foundation and straighten the blocks back to where they belong.

Foundation wall falling inwards

This home in Cherry Valley has a foundation wall that is bowing in falling inward, we installed our Anchors to help secure the foundation from falling any further in.

Carbon Armor

We were called for an obvious crack on the wall.  It was repaired using CarbonArmor wall reinforcements.  CarbonArmor is designed to reinforce and stabilize the foundation wall from the inside of the home.

Bowing walls and a water problem can be fixed at the same time

It can be difficult to see a bowing wall in a picture, but when you look at the top of the after photo, it is obvious just how out of plumb that wall is.  Along with the bowing wall, this basement also experienced water seepage.  We were able to install our WaterGuard and PowerBrace systems at the same time around the entire perimeter of the basement.  When we left on the last day, the walls were stabilized from any further movement and the perimeter was protected from any water intrusion.

Powerbrace replacement

Steve previously had 4 by 4's placed up against his walls to prevent future bowing from taking place. He wanted something more stable and even the possibility of straightening the wall, we installed 14 new PowerBraces on all 4 walls of the basement and 4 Wall Anchors in places the PowerBraces would not fit.
