A homeowner in Southington, CT was getting water in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Jorge Tomas, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proper solution. 

Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to work on this project. They installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with a WaterGuard drain system to collect and pump out any water that may come into the basement. The TripleSafe works with three pumps, one that runs on a battery backup, to ensure that any water will get pumped out when it reaches a certain level. This will ensure that this homeowner's basement will stay dry in the long term. 

A homeowner in Southington had existing sump pumps in their basement that were not working properly, as they were still getting water in the basement. One of our Salesmen, Mick Foster, met with the customer in their home to assess the issues in the basement and give them an estimate for work that our team would install. 

Delfine Mones, one of our Foremen, and his crew installed this project. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system to collect water coming in from the floors and walls. Then they installed two of our TripleSafe sump pumps. These will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these systems, this basement will now stay dry!

Water used to seep through the wall-floor joint of this Avon, CT garage every time it rained. To fix this, we installed out WaterGuard perimeter drain. The WaterGuard System is an award-winning, patented below-floor drain that rests in a bed of drainage stone on top of the foundation footing. By installing the drain at this point, it's kept out of the "mud zone", the point where clogged drains are common. The unique shape and large drain openings of WaterGuard also aid in prevent clogs in the system. With the WaterGuard installed, the owners have a dry, maintainence free garage!

We also installed our ceiling tiles to make the basement completely finished. The transformation is incredible and the homeowner can now enjoy a bright and finished basement!
