Before, this Avon, CT basement had an open space where the stairs connected to the Bilco door. Not only was this an eyesore, but it would let in an uncomfortable draft, welcome critters to the basement, and allow water seepage to the space. The homeowner wanted a dry, pleasant basement in order to sell his home. 

The solution we provided was to install a full perimeter WaterGuard system paired with TrenchDrains and a TripleSafe sump pump. In addition, our Total Basement Finishing door was installed. A warrantied door will help prevent the uncomfortable drafts, water from entering the space and deter critters, too! With this dry and pleasant basement, the homeowner was able to sell his home within two months.

Before, this Avon, CT basement had no rim joist insulation in their basement. With no insulation in the rim joists, unwanted drafts and water seepage can enter the space. This homeowner was eager to sell the home and knew that a few improvements for the basement would be needed to accomplish that goal.

A homeowner in Plainville had rotting sills in their basement and needed a footing extension to stabilize the home. One of our Sales Consultants, Brian DiRisi, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide them with a proper solution that our Foundation team would tackle. 

One of our Foremen, Sergio Alves, and Jacob Scott, would install this job. They cut into the walls to be able to see the footings. They removed what was rotting and added cinder blocks as the extension. Then they added a new sill as a replacement for the rotting wood. Now this home has stable footings and sills, so the homeowner no longer needs to worry about their footings falling apart. 

A homeowner in Plainville, CT expressed concerns regarding her basement's rapid increase in water. Despite having a sump pump system, large pools of water were visible within the space. With the plans approved, Foreman Luis Alas and his team arrived on-site to begin the installation process. Installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier and WaterGuard French drain system around the perimeter, the basement would be much more protected against unwanted moisture. This moisture, collected along the walls, is channeled into the TripleSafe sump pump system and expelled at a safe distance from the home.

With the install complete, the homeowner felt a sense of relief. The combination of waterproofing systems installed made the homeowner confident in her basement's ability to mitigate unwanted moisture!
