Basement Waterproofing in Norwalk, CT

A homeowner in Norwalk, CT was getting water in their basement and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us find a solution for their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Chuck Stofko, went out to the home to assess the issues and propose a way to solve them.

The next step in the process would be for one of our Foremen, Krzysztof Wilk, and his team to work on the installation of this job. They installed our DryTrak drain system along the bottom of the floor. This specific drain system is used for monolithic foundations. This will collect water coming in from the walls or floors and drain it into the sump pump. The pump they installed was a TripleSafe. This will pump out any water that comes into the basement at a safe distance away from the home. This is done through a proper discharge line that the team also installed. Now this basement will stay dry with our systems working together!

Waterproofing a Basement in Norwalk, CT

A homeowner in Norwalk, CT was experiencing issues pertaining to moisture in his basement. With an old, outdated sump pump for such a vast space, the homeowner knew he had to act. To combat these issues, he reached out to the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems for assistance.

Upon calling, the homeowner made contact with Sales Representative Tony Van Deusen. Van Deusen was able to address the homeowner's concerns, scheduling a free in-home consultation and drafting a proposal.

Once the proposal was accepted by the homeowner, Foreman Moises Chantes and his team got to work. By installing a new TripleSafe sump pump with three layers of protection against basement flooding, the homeowner would surely be protected against further basement moisture. Additionally, a WaterGuard French drain was installed along the perimeter to help collect water traveling down the walls and around the floor. This water would then be funneled into the TripleSafe pump and expelled outside of the home. Lastly, a white CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed along the walls.

Once installed, the homeowner was thrilled with the results, and looks forward to utilizing their dry basement!

TrenchDrain Installation in Norwalk, CT

To stop water from flowing through the doorway of this home, our team installed the TrenchDrain grated draining system along the edge of the entranceway. TrenchDrain resembles half of a basement drainage pipe, with a grated opening fitted snugly on top. The grate is flush or slightly below the floor, eliminating any tripping hazard. After the cement finishes drying, the owners of this home can be confident that no water will leak through their doorway any more.
