Our expert Design Specialist carefully assessed the home and discovered that rainwater had been pooling around the foundation, eroding the soil beneath and causing the home to settle. To address the problem, we designed a comprehensive repair plan that included installing a new exterior drainage system along with our helical pier system to permanently stabilize and lift the foundation.

With Sherrie’s approval, our team installed each helical pier deep into the ground until stable, load-bearing soils were reached. The piers were then securely bracketed to the foundation’s footer, transferring the home’s weight to the solid soil below. From there, we carefully lifted the foundation back into its proper position, effectively closing the wall cracks.

Now Sherrie can enjoy lasting peace of mind now that her home’s foundation is properly secured and permanently stabilized.

LRE completed a whole home inspection and determined that poor grading/sloping of the property toward the water accelerated the erosion process. Washed-out and loose soil conditions were causing voids and settlement under the deck, so LRE devised a solution that consisted of PolyLevel. This two-part, polyurethane material was injected under the concrete slab through small holes, and flowed through loose soils, expanding and filling the voids as it went. PolyLevel also lifts concrete slabs, like this pool deck back to level, and once the job was finished, the homeowner was thrilled his pool deck was level, cracks closed, and could finally rest easy knowing it was permanently stabilized.
