A home in Humboldt, Illinois, needed some stabilization as the foundations were starting to show signs of failure. Woods came out and installed exterior piers to help stabilize the home. The Push Pier System will permanently stabilize the home's settling foundation and in many cases, raise it back up. Engineered steel tube sections are driven through steel foundation brackets, past unstable soils, to the solid bedrock beneath it. This will transfer the home's weight evenly on solid ground, rather than the unstable soils supporting it previously. With this installation in place, this home will remain stable for many years to come.

These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. Any cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. Foreman Jose L installed a SmartJack, shown above, in Robert’s home.  The SmartJack will rest on the ground and will support the sinking floors lifting them back towards their original position.
