A foundation was becoming unstable in Vandalia, IL, as cracks were forming and leaking water. To solve these issues, specialized GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These longer wall anchors are a customized solution for extreme foundation failure, as they will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. The cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. Next, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls and drain any leaks down to the WaterGuard System. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the sump pump to then be pumped out of the house. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry, clean, and stable for years to come!

In these photos, you can see how the WaterGuard leads directly to the sump pump, allowing water to be pumped out of the basement. Once it is laid properly, it is covered up with concrete, allowing it to blend back in with the rest of the floor. Now Warren and Joyce can have peace of mind that their basement is dry and safe!
