This Webster Groves, MO homeowner was interested in insulating and encapsulating their crawl space. Luckily, System Design Specialist Brian S. was able to help! He recommended the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, which is a thick vapor barrier that prevents moisture and water vapor from permeating into the crawl space, keeping it dry. This homeowner also opted to install the SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation System, which reflects in heat, reducing energy costs. Underneath Project Manager Frankie D., Foreman Jose H. and his crew installed these effective systems, and now this homeowner can enjoy their newly insulated and encapsulated crawl space for many years to come!

Homeowners Tom and Jane of Brentwood, MO were concerned about how their vented gravel crawl space was impacting their house. They called Woods Basement Systems and System Design Specialist Brandon B. developed a solution for them. 

Foreman James L. and his crew installed a crawl space encapsulation, including CleanSpace, SilverGlo, TerraBlock, and Vent Covers. 

These products combined provided a high level of energy savings. CleanSpace is an durable inorganic vapor barrier, it isolates your home from the dirt, allergens, and critters, providing a must-free dry area. 

TerraBlock goes under the CleanSpace, it gives an extra layer of insulation.  An added bonus is it gives you and future service professionals a soft surface to work on. 

SilverGlo is R-13 rated graphite insulation. The tiny particles of graphite reflect the hot or cold air back into the crawl space providing ultimate energy savings. 

Tom and Jane can now use their crawl space for storage and know that their home is seperated from the outside. 

This St. Louis crawl space once suffered from groundwater seepage and mold, creating musty odors in the home above.  Woods Basement Systems installed the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system with SmartPipe perimeter drainage and the SmartSump sump pump system to seal moisture out, reduce mold and odors upstairs, and turn the crawl space into a clean, dry space.

Wet, sagging insulation and disconnected ductwork made for one nasty and inefficient crawl space.  The moisture and humidity had caused insulation to sag and fall to the dirt floor.  No one knows why a section of ductwork was just dangling, but the homeowners sure didn't appreciate the energy wasted to heat and cool the crawl space.

Now, the crawl space is sealed and encapsulated with the CleanSpace vapor barrier, and the ductwork is properly connected.  A sump pump system pumps groundwater out from under vapor barrier and away from the home.  The homeowners enjoy warmer floors in the winter, breathe cleaner air upstairs, and benefit from lower utility bills.

Jerry M. of St. Louis, Missouri had water damage due to cracks in his foundation walls, so he decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke K. recommended installing CleanSpace and WaterGuard. 

Foreman, Greg H. installed the products. CleanSpace is attached to the walls and is a vapor barrier made of inorganic materials, so it will not support mold growth. It is used on foundation walls to to keep water vapor from coming into the basement air. Additionally, it collects water that seeps through the basement walls. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it takes the water collected by the CleanSpace and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.
