Epoxy Floor Cracks in New Buffalo, Michigan

Hydrostatic pressure can cause groundwater to push up through the floor in a basement.  We sealed the cracks in this New Buffalo, Michigan basement, to push the water to the perimeter foundation walls.

New Buffalo, Michigan Epoxy Crack Injection

To prevent water getting into a basement through a foundation crack, we grind and prep the wall for the injection, we install injection ports, and inject the crack with epoxy. This cost includes a second visit to cut off injection ports, seal ports, and reseal the surface of the entire crack with an additional layer of epoxy.

New Buffalo, Michigan Waterproofing Project

We removed about a 12 inch section of the concrete floor, the blocks then have weep holes drilled in every hollow core, filter cloth was laid over the footing and dirt, and the WaterGuard installed.

The WaterGuard drains into the SuperSump that was installed in the south east corner of the basement. The discharge for the sump pump goes out the south east corner into the ice guard and ties into the existing four-inch line that is buried outside.

Star City, Indiana Waterproofing

During inspection our estimator could easily see that the cinderblocks were holding onto water and allowing that water to seep through over time.  We installed a combination of DryTrak and WaterGuard to drain and channel that water into a UltraSump pump.

This customer experienced a flood from a failed sump pump.  We made sure we installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump to ensure that she would be safe from a power outage or a sump pump failure.
