The homeowner of this crawl space in Cedar Falls wanted to seal the space accordingly. Wanting to make the space dryer and warmer he called the professionals at MidAmerica Basement Systems. To keep the crawl space dry, the team encapsulated the space with thick and durable CleanSpace liner. To keep air from entering and exiting the vents, the team installed vent covers. To make sure that water will not pool in case of a leak, SmartDrain was fitted into the space. To insulate the space -keeping it warm and saving the homeowner lots on utility bills- the team lined the crawl space with SilverGlo panels.

Iris was having an issue of water coming into her basement, but because she had a finished basement, the leak had gone unnoticed until it was too late. The drywall had started to warp and grow mold.
