Oelwein, IA, Damaged Crawl Space Repaired

A homeowner in Oelwein, IA, noticed an odd odor around their home. After taking a closer look, the homeowner determined the smell was coming from their basement. Unsure of the cause, the homeowner knew they needed to look into "crawl space repair near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks. Since they were already on our website, the homeowner knew we were the ideal company for their project and signed up for their FREE estimate. Once the estimate was set, the homeowner prepared for the arrival of our Design Specialist, Ryan. A few days later, Ryan traveled to the home to begin the detailed inspection of the crawl space. After completing the inspection, Ryan confirmed that the crawl space needed to be fully encapsulated. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner agreed and worked with Ryan to find the best installation date. When the installation date arrived, our Foreman, Chris, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the project. First, Chris and his crew started by encapsulating the entire crawl space. The crew laid Drainage Matting on the crawl space floors. Once the Drainage Matting was laid, the crew shifted to attaching CleanSpace to the unfinished walls and floors. Once all the products were secured, the crew cleaned up their matierals and left the home. The homeowner was delighted with the excellent work completed by the crew. Basement Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

A homeowner in Crosby, MN had water leaking into their basement, causing them to worry about mold build-up, water moisture, and a flooded basement. They did research on our website and came across our basement waterproofing products. The homeowner called our office to schedule a FREE Estimate with our Design Specialist, Chad Johnson. Chad went to their home to examine the water issues and come up with a solution that fits their needs. The homeowner was confident in Chad's TripleSafe Sump Pump System proposal and design, so they scheduled an installation date and signed the contract.

Our Foreman, Brian Colliton, and his production team began the installation by breaking out the concrete floor in the corner of the basement, forming a hole. In the hole, our team installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. Our TripleSafe provides three layers of protection, comes with a battery back-up, and solves all three water problems in one system. Our crew connected the discharge line, ran it through the ceiling, and out of the home. To complete the project, our crew applied new concrete around the sump pump and left the basement cleaner than when they found it. The homeowner had a remarkable experience from start to finish!

Leaky Basement Gets Waterproofed in Crosby, MN

Tom from Crosby, ND had begun to notice a large amount of water finding its way into the basement of his lakeside home. He was tired of constant water intrusion and was afraid that, if left untreated, he would run the risk of doing more costly damage to the space. He did some research and found our company and gave us a call. When he called in, we set him up with our FREE estimate. A few weeks later our Design Specialist, Kole, headed out to the property to see what could be done to fix the issue. Once he completed his walkthrough, he recommended that Tom have our WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe Sump Pump installed to correct the issue. He explained to Tom that the WaterGuard is installed below the floor to catch any water entering the space, and then deposits it to the TripleSafe, keeping the space dry because of the capacity the TripleSump is able to withstand. Tom agreed with Kole's recommendations and work began shortly after.

Our Foreman, Kevin, ended up installing 128 ft of our WaterGuard, and 1 of our TripleSafe sump pumps. Once the job was completed, Tom was happy to know his basement water issues were in the past.

Uneven Concrete Driveway in Rochester MN

This Rochester, MN homeowner reached out to American Waterworks with concerns about their exposed aggregate patio becoming more and more of a trip hazard.

After further analysis, our inspector noticed the garage apron was also cracked and uneven.  American Waterworks recommended leveling their concrete garage apron with our PolyLEVEL injection foam technology and sealing the cracks and joints that make up the garage apron with Nexus Pro.  Once the concrete slab had been leveled, applying a NexusPro Joint Sealant, will protect the space between the foundation and concrete even more. PolyLevel not only lifts and stabilizes sunken and cracked concrete, but can also help prevent water from leaking through their foundation and into their home.
