High-Performance Support Jack System Levels Sagging Floors in Brunswick, ME
We installed the SmartJack Support System to lift and level the sagging floors above the customer’s basement because the existing support was no longer doing its job. Over time, the floor had started to sag due to weakened or poorly installed supports, making the space less functional and safe. We recently helped Brunswick, Maine homeowners with their newly purchased property. An engineering report showed that the current basement supports were insufficient to maintain the house. The floors were also noticeably slanted and uneven. We removed rusted old lally columns and installed new SmartJacks. We recently helped homeowners in Topsham, Maine repair their foundation. The owners had noticed shifting, and one wall in particular was bowing quite a bit. We installed a combination of StableLock Wall system, as well as SmartJacks. StableLock Walls are a great option for foundation wall repair when a wall is cracked, crumbling, or bowing. Rather than expensive excavation and lifting the home we simply pour a new concrete wall in front of the failing wall to give proper support and prevent further shifting. This Richmond, ME, homeowner was worried about the supports in his basement after seeing their dry wall beginning to crack. Not willing to let the problem get worse, they booked a free estimate with TC Hafford Basement Systems, and System Design Specialist Lou DiStasio worked with the homeowner to protect their home. A Supplemental Beam was built, and SmartJacks were installed where needed. SmartJacks are constructed of galvanized steel and can be adjusted over time to prevent the floor above from sagging. Sagging Floors Need More Support in Bath, ME
Bath, ME homeowners contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help when they realized their floors were sagging.
