Sump Pump Upgrade in Rockland, MA

A homeowner in Rockland, MA had a sump pump and French drain system that both failed after the recent heavy rain storm we got. Our inspector, David, went to the home and drew up a plan to install a much more reliable waterproofing system with DryZone's products. On installation day, Foreman Lucio and his crew got to work! They removed the existing sump pump and filled in the hole where it was with fresh concrete. David and Lucio both confirmed that a more effective location for the sump pump would be closer to the back of the house near the bulkhead door, since that's where the water issues were. The crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system along the floor's perimeter and around the oil tank to protect it from water damage. In front of the bulkhead door, they put our TrenchDrain grated basement drain to collect surface water. The WaterGuard and TrenchDrain are connected and drain into the TripleSafe sump pump which sends all that water out of the home. On the outside of the home, the crew set up our IceGuard discharge line system to prevent flooding from a clogged or frozen discharge line. The homeowner is now much more confident in their basement's waterproofing system!
