The wood below this floor was rotting away quickly in Hopedale, MA. There was so much humidity in the crawl space that the supporting wood structure began to deteriorate, effecting the floors stabilization above. Luckily, our team revived this floor and the crawl space under it by installing SmartJack floor support systems to raise the floor and stabilize it in place. Additionally, we fully wrapped up this crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent future humidity. 

This homeowner from North Smithfield, RI wanted to level back her floor that was uneven above her basement. The support posts were beginning to slant, causing the floor to become unstable. A homeowner in Providence, RI gave us a call because the wooden ceiling beams in their basement were starting to crack and fail, causing the main floor of the home above to slope. Our inspector, Mike, went out to the home to assess the basement's structural issues and he drew up a solution to stabilize it. On installation day, Foreman Kervin and his crew installed our SmartJack Stabilizing System and new supplemental beams throughout the basement. A homeowner in North Kingstown, RI gave us a call because a wall in their basement was severely bowing inward. One of our inspectors, Trevor, went to the home to take a look at the wall and drew up a solution for it. On installation day, our crew installed PowerBraces, which are made of strong galvanized steel and can be adjusted over time to reverse the bowing of the walls that has already occurred. The homeowner feels a sense of relief now that the PowerBraces are in place.

This damp and musty crawl space was faced with structural damage due to all the mold growing onto the wood. This caused the floor above to sag down since the support below was deteriorating.
