They utilized their basement for laundry and storage, so it was really important that it stayed dry. Our inspector, Jake, came up with a solution that would give the homeowner peace of mind going forward. Foreman Lucio and his crew started waterproofing the basement by installing our CleanSpace wall system along each wall to corral the water permeating the wall into the WaterGuard drainage system which was installed along the floor's perimeter to collect the groundwater. That water is then channeled into the SuperSump Plus sump pump. The SuperSump Plus sends all of the collected water out of the basement through a discharge line. On the outside of the home, the IceGuard discharge line system was set up to prevent water from flooding back into the basement if the discharge line ever gets clogged or freezes in the winter. The homeowner is so relieved that they won't be finding water in their basement ever again.
