They had an existing sump pump from another company but would still occasionally find water in their basement, so they needed a reliable option. When Steve, one of our inspectors, went to the home to take a look at the basement, he came up with a solution that would make it completely waterproof. On installation day, foreman Riley and his crew got to work! They started by lining the basement walls with our CleanSpace Wall System which acts as a vapor barrier to combat water trying to get in through the walls. Around the entire perimeter of the floor, the crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system. They removed the existing sump pump and installed our SuperSump Plus sump pump in the lowest point of the basement. The SuperSump Plus takes all of the water collected by the drainage system and sends it out of the basement through the discharge line. The IceGuard discharge line system was set up on the outside of the home to prevent flooding if the line were to ever get clogged or freeze. The homeowner now feels confident in their basement waterproofing system and is looking forward to finishing their basement!
