Henry and Susan's home began presenting structural problems as the floor became un-level. Understanding the home's structural integrity may be at risk, the couple decided to call Ayers to have it looked at. After making an appointment, a System Design Specialist at Ayers went to their home for a thorough assessment. The team at Ayers decided that Helical Piers would be perfect for Henry's and Susan's home. Helical Piers are steel piers that are screwed into the ground. The lower section of the pier has blades that act as a screw when going into the ground. Once the pier is screwed down to the desired height, and into load-bearing soil, the pier is attached to the homes footing with steel foundation brackets. Helical Piers can permanently stabilize a home and bring it back to level in Henry's and Susan's case!

Dennis called Ayers about solutions to his foundation support troubles he was having. We had a crew come out to his home to inspect these problems and from there we concluded SmartJacks would provide the perfect fix. They recommended the Supportworks GeoLock Wall Anchor System. These are heavy-duty, galvanized earth anchors designed to be placed in solid, undisturbed soil. The steel rod connecting the ground anchor to the wall anchor provides clamping pressure to stabilize the wall. Carol loves the look of her new basement wall!
