Cheryl recently noticed the outside walls of her apartment were cracking and didn't want them to cave in. As the property manager, she knew this needed fixing, so she researched and called Ayers for help. We sent a team of professionals to the complex to evaluate, and they recommended installing GeoLock wall anchors. The wall anchors are made of galvanized steel and fastened to the compromised wall. A ground anchor is placed away from the house in undisturbed soil and connected to the wall anchor by a steel rod. Cheryl is relieved to have a stable wall!

The concrete curbs outside Mike’s store needed fixed. He called our team and we installed PolyLevel, a waterproof and long-lasting system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. A polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density is used in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes.

Todd had a bowed basement wall so he called our team. We installed PowerBrace, a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls. Often outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.

A homeowner from Battle Creek needed help with the basement foundation walls because she noticed that they were beginning to bow. We drove to her property and installed PowerBraces among many things. Power Braces are an adjustable vertical beam used to help correct uneven foundation. The PowerBrace is placed up against the walls and attached to the floor joists above it. Foreman will come in and tighten them over time in homes in order to correct the wall over time. The Power Brace is much better than I-Beam styles because it continuously improves the wall. This system is zinc coated so it is fully resistant to corrosion.  Now, this homeowner should never have to worry about a weak foundation ever again.

Cheryl T. called us because she had some water leaking in her basement and after inspection from one of our system design specialist it was evident that a couple of the basement walls were bowing. This can happen when the soil on the outside starts pushing on the foundation. With the homeowner we decided the use the solution of Carbon Fiber Straps to fix the walls. Carbon fiber is a very high tensile strength material which means it is literally impossible to stretch. Carbon fiber straps are a great option as long as the wall in only bowed in the middle and hasn't started sliding at the top or bottom. They also work great for those of you that have limited access on the outside of your home because of neighbors or a barn etc.
