Waterproofing Job Gives Older Grand Rapids, MI Home Much Needed Protection
Jon was searching for waterproofing solutions for his older home built in 1964. He wanted to make sure his home remains safe and protected from water leaks so he called Ayers. We had a crew come out to his home for a free inspection and it was decided he could use our WaterGuard System, SuperSump Plus, as well as our Window WellDuct Drain.
First off, we had our crew install WaterGuard System which is a sub-floor drainage system installed around the perimeter of the basement and will collect water coming in through the walls. This water will then be directed to the sump pump and concrete is poured over the system to conceal it. Then we had our crew install SuperSump Plus which is a horsepower pump that has the ability to pump 2200 gallons of water an hour at an 8 foot head. The final installation was our Window WellDuct Drain which will help any water leaking from a basement window drain into the WaterGuard System.
Jon was thrilled to get waterproofing systems installed that will protect his home for decades!

He called us to find a solution to the water issue. We installed the WaterGuard System to their home to keep the water off their floors and to drain it out of the house. The WaterGuard is a French drain that is installed below the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing to keep it out of the area where drains can clog. The system collects water from the walls and drains it to your sump pump. The system installs quickly and has a clean finish.

Egress Window Allows for Comstock Park, MI Homeowner to Start Basement Remodeling
Lee called Ayers looking for an Egress Window so he could begin the basement remodeling process and to stop the window well leaks he was currently dealing with. With the Egress Window he will no longer have to worry about leaks as this is a sturdy, waterproof window with a huge well on the exterior as well as a lid that keeps outside pests out. This window is larger which allows more natural light to shine through, making the space appear bigger and more inviting. This is also an important safety measure to consider because these windows provide a safe exit in emergency situations which is crucial for him since he wants to finish his basement. Lee was ecstatic with the new finished look the Egress Window brought to his basement!
