One of the walls in this Lansing, MI basement was bowing inward and had multiple cracks in the cinder block seams. The homeowners wanted to do some remodeling in the basement, so they wanted the issue resolved before doing so.

To stabilize the shifting wall, we installed the CarbonArmor system that used carbon fiber straps to hold the wall in place. The straps are 10x stronger than steel and are adhered to the wall with a strong epoxy resin. Once attached to the walls, the system was secured into place with steel brackets to prevent the wall from continuing to shift and crack over time.

This Lansing homeowner had a flood in her basement last summer and now has some cracks where water leaks in. She wanted a solution and a peace of mind the foundtion was going to be secure. We installed the GeoLock Channel Anchors to provide an incredible solution that will halt all inward movement of your walls. The channel anchor is then mounted on the other end of the rod inside your foundation wall, secured to the floor, and tightened into place. This will permanently stabilize your wall and could possibly return it to its original condition. 

This customer gave us a call after noticing long cracks across the walls and ceiling in their sun room. The room was held up by wood pillars installed into the deck area outside. The weight of the room became too much for the pillars to hold and the room began to shift. This was evident to both the homeowner and our crew because of the uneven floor and cracked walls. It was a different problem, but not out of our wheelhouse.
