Stabilizing and Lifting a Sunken Garage

Patrick had a concrete slab under the garage that has dropped and was causing major issues due to the weight of the roof. The middle section of the 2 stall garage has sunk the most and needed to be supported so that the roof and home would be supported. We used Helical Piers to stabilize the garage structure and raise it back to the original level. These install fast and effectively and can be done year-round!

FlexiSpan Seals and Protects Jenison, MI Home from Wall Leaks

Dan was stressed out about the leaks in his basement wall and was hoping it wouldn't spread to something worse. Worried about this wall leak he knew he needed professional help so Dan called Ayers. We had a crew head over to his house for a free inspection. After our System Design Specialists checked out the issue it was decided Dan would need FlexiSpan.

FlexiSpan is the perfect solution for this problem as it is a crack repair system that consists of a two-layer sealant. This sealant both plugs the crack and creates a drainage route for any water leaks. Underneath the white panel polyurethane was used to seal the seam and any water that pushes its way through this sealant will flow down the wall into a drainage well at the foot of the wall. This solution will put an end to these irritating wall leaks Dan was tired of dealing with.

Dan was relieved to tackle this wall leak issue with a trustworthy solution!

Lifting Slanted Floor in Three Rivers, MI, Home

Brian noticed his kitchen floor was slanted for the first time. He was worried about the damage this could cause, so he called Ayers to learn about our foundation solutions. Our professionals visited his home to evaluate and recommended installing the SmartJacks supplemental support system. SmartJacks are hot-dipped in galvanized steel and zinc plated, making them far sturdier than store-bought floor jacks. As the house moves and shifts, the jacks can be adjusted as well.  Brian loves the longevity of his new system!

Repairing Foundation Walls in Conklin, MI

One of Robert and Katheryn’s walls was leaning against their water heater. They were worried about their water heater and their bowing wall, so they called our team. We installed PowerBrace, a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls in place and overtime it will straighten them. Often outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.

Geo-Anchors Save a Collapsing Cabin in Branch Township, MI

This Branch Township, MI cabin had taken a beating from the outside soil. Horizontal cracks were running the length of the basement walls, a common sign of bowing. The owners had contacted several different companies looking for a solution. After being told that the foundation was collapsing and the only solution would be to tear it down and rebuild, they began to lose hope. But that was before they talked to us.

Bowing Walls can mean the end of your home’s structural integrity. Whoever told the owners that the foundation was collapsing was correct, the walls wouldn’t be able to stand the pressure much longer. What that contractor didn’t know is that the Ayers crew could fix the cabin’s bowing walls without removing a single log. The secret is our Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System. The crew excavated the soil next to the home and inserted anchors into hard-packed soil further away from the foundation. Once the anchors were in place, the crew connected steel rods between the anchor and interior wall plates (seen in the after photo) in the basement. After the installation was complete, any inward bowing of the walls was permanently stopped. The system can even be tightened to bring these walls back to their original position. The installation may have taken a few days, but we’re sure that time felt like nothing compared to rebuilding the cabin.
