Our team installed CleanSpace in Eddie's crawl space in order to completely seal it off from the rest of his home. CleanSpace is a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish. This material will be applied to your floors and walls to create a sleek look and an uninterrupted barrier.

Derrick just recently purchased a property in Saugatuck and he noticed that the yard kept flooding. He knew he had to make sure his crawl space was protected from the moisture. He called our team and amongst a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a TripleSafe sump pump, and IceGuard, we installed CleanSpace. CleanSpace is an uninterrupted vapor barrier designed to keep out any unwanted pests, moisture, and mold. This barrier restricts airflow and therefore makes controlling the temperature of the home much easier. CleanSpace is applied to the floors and walls and wrapped around pillars and piers carefully to ensure that the space looks clean and refreshed. Now that his space is waterproofed and encapsulated, he can enjoy it without worrying about potential flooding and current moisture. 

Paul took out the hot tub that was in his 3 season room and found  mold so he is restructuring the whole thing. While he took apart the flooring, he found a small crawl space underneath that he wanted encapsulated. Drainage Matting was first. It has raised dimples in it to direct any water to the sump pump. Then we installed the SuperSump Plus which keeps the space dry for long periods of time. We then installed CleanSpace Vapor Barrier which keeps out humidity, pests, and water vapor. You protect the structure from mold and rot. when you keep the space dry so to make sure it stays dry we also installed the SaniDry XP dehumidifier. The dehumidifier blows dry air throughout the area to keep it dry as well as filters the air for mold spores and other small particles.

When these Montague, MI started noticing a musty smell coming from their crawl space, they knew they needed an encapsulation. That musty smell usually comes from moisture and humidity in the crawl space. Dirt floors (like the one seen in the before photo) allow vapor and heat to rise up and into the crawl space. Luckily for the owners, the CleanSpace system in the after photo is a complete vapor barrier that won’t allow moisture to pass through. The full encapsulation also covered the walls, just in case water was leaking through them as well. With the inclusion of a Sanidry CX Dehumidifier, there shouldn’t be any more trouble for this crawl space.
