This Spring Lake, MI, homeowner faced a double threat in their crawl space: moisture attracting critters that found their way into the home. Our team encapsulated the space with a durable, anti-microbial CleanSpace liner to seal out moisture and installed drainage matting and a SmartDrain system to handle any potential water intrusion. Their crawl space is now clean, dry, and secure—free from critters and ready to serve as additional storage space if needed.

Keith never realized that his crawl space could affect his whole home, until one day there was a weird smell in the air. It was because of standing water in his crawl space, this could to lead to mold and many other issues.. He immediately called us to help solve his problem.

Our team did a full CleanSpace installation, including; a Triple safe Sump Pump, Ice Guard, and Cleanspace Drainage Matting. All these tools work together to keep Keith's crawl space dry.

Richard needed some help sealing up his crawl space to ensure the water intrusion in this area would be put to an end. After calling Ayers for a permanent fix, we had a crew inspect the area to determine the best solutions. Our System Design Specialists came up with the plan to install CleanSpace and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. CleanSpace is a thick, waterproof, and durable liner made of plastic that is placed on the crawl space floor and holds a vapor barrier property. This vapor barrier will prevent excess moisture development that leads to bacteria or mold. Lastly, we added our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the air clean and dry!

Crawlspace protection is important and often mislooked by homeowners. To fully protect your crawlspace, Ayers recommends the combination of CleanSpace and a SaniDry dehumidifier to create a healthy environment for your crawlspace. The CleanSpace vapor barrier (white) blocks moisture coming in through the foundation while the SaniDry (not pictured) takes the moisture out of the air to prevent wood rot, mold growth and musty smells.  Together, these additions create an effective environment that will save energy bills as well as keep your home and you healthy.  

Patricia came to Ayers seeking a solution for her home after previous work on her home did not work out. Patricia opted for various waterproofing efforts to waterproof her home.
